I was totally guilty of it when I acquired my second horse as well. That said... although I can't see the youtube video for some reason (maybe because I'm on google chrome?), I'm sure this mare is lovely and it certainly doesn't hurt to dream and it is a buyer's market! But... if I were a less impulsive, less horse-crazed, more reasonable girl, I'd tell you to at least wait until P comes home and then decide if you need another.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13790278181159401158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4855187223809114916.post-49732872400650996602011-12-09T14:44:51.553-08:002011-12-09T14:44:51.553-08:00She is lovely--she may even come with less baggage...She is lovely--she may even come with less baggage than P. But oh would Miss P be mad if another mare came into the picture! The other thing that might be neat to consider would be breeding this mare down the road for something to play with in the future!Niamhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12445287419135378606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4855187223809114916.post-46045616997202374802011-12-09T10:54:07.174-08:002011-12-09T10:54:07.174-08:00I know of a lovely 16ish hand coming 5yo TB mare f...I know of a lovely 16ish hand coming 5yo TB mare for $2300. She's a great eventing prospect, very lightly, correctly started going w/t/c undersaddle with a nice natural frame. Never raced, totally sound with awesome bare feet oh, and generally unspoiled with great ground manners!

She was mine but I didn't have the facilities to work with her under saddle nor a trailer big enough to haul her in, so I traded her for a high-quality dressage pony. The person I traded with said that she got the better end of the deal. I don't agree or disagree with that, because I am totally happy with the pony. She traded for Andy as a winter project to re-sell.

Of course you have Pia, but even if she does come back a lot better, is she going to be able to do what you want to do with her because of her wobblers?hammerhorseshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07144749417680923288noreply@blogger.com
