My childhood ...This post brought tears to my eyes. My childhood pony turned twenty one this year and I miss her so much. I still sometimes wish I hadn't given her to my friend four years ago. She's only an hour away but I wish she were still here where I could see her every day. When I was a kid I always tried to imagine what it would be like when we'd be in our thirties together. Very heart warming post. Thanks for sharing.Achieve1dreamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15401246064499148344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4855187223809114916.post-18907723980829272702011-06-03T05:06:46.732-07:002011-06-03T05:06:46.732-07:00To have a pet from the 70's? I knew her as a youngster, but didn't get the pleasure of riding her until her 27th year. She was in charge of my re-rider education, and she did me right. :)

If we weren't so darn far away from equine vet care - I have no doubt she'd still be here. She beat the pneumonia from her choking incident, but her throat was ultimately too damaged.

I hope your Star pulls through again, and that when her time comes, she goes peacefully and comfortably. :)Calm, Forward, Straighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08360276614916635500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4855187223809114916.post-69572309619247012902011-06-02T14:04:54.790-07:002011-06-02T14:04:54.790-07:00This was simultaneously heartwarming and heartbrea...This was simultaneously heartwarming and heartbreaking.
