Never In My Wildest Dreams

Never. If you had asked me when I bought Prair if I thought I would ever be having this much fun with her.

If you asked me last year, I wouldn't have thought we'd be having this much fun in the Hunters.

And if you asked me last month, I wouldn't have thought we'd be having such a successful trip to the desert.

But, we are.

I'm enjoying every ride and can't get the grin off my face as we canter up lines on a light contact with leg on.

I'm totally understanding why people love the slow, steady, easy Hunter ride.... It's SO fun. So fun.

Yesterday Prair was a SAINT. Each course was better than the last, and although we nearly missed our Under Saddle due to a slight scheduling misunderstanding - we trotted in and had a nice relaxed, (but bright) ride.

We ended up getting two 1sts over fences, and a 4th! (And a blank, but we had a missed change), along with a blue Under Saddle which (omg omg omg) made us Champion!

Even better was that our barn mate got reserve!

    As a former very low-key hunter rider now turned endurance, I am SO very excited to keep watching your journey. You're almost making me want to go back into the hunter world again!
